专利说明:

15 20 25 30 35 2 sector-shaped logs occur because the logs to be split determine / change the location / height position of the splitting member in relation to the logs automatically. The fact that the wood splits regularly is ensured by the splitting member being locked during the splitting of the wood, whereby the fibers or twigs of the wood cannot control the splitting of the log. A further advantage is that the firewood is split in the middle of the log of the log, ie. at the core. A further advantage of the invention is that no so-called firewood chips occur because, in the wood splitting process, the firewood defined as thin is automatically identified, which then in the wood splitting process is only split into two parts in the middle, both parts having a suitable size for use as firewood.
The wood chipping process makes it faster to make firewood because you do not have to make individual settings according to the diameter of the wood to be split, but the machine works automatically. A further advantage of the invention is that the wood is cut to a set length automatically. It is clear that with the help of the invented wood splitting process, large economic savings are achieved in the production of firewood.
The invention is described in more detail in the following with reference to the accompanying figures.
Figure 1 shows a wood splitting machine using the wood splitting method according to the invention, seen obliquely from above and with a log stick approaching cutting in the wood splitting machine.
Figure 2 shows the wood chipping machine according to figure 1 seen obliquely from above. In the figure, the log is being cut, and a splitting determining means for the wood splitter has lifted the splitting means up to a position in the middle of the wood stove and a locking means for the splitting means has locked the splitting means in place.
Figure 3 shows the wood splitting machine according to Figures 1 and 2 seen obliquely from above. In the figure, the log has been cut in two by a wood cutting member and it has fallen into a splitting space, the splitting member being locked in the middle of the road.
Figure 4 shows the height locking of the splitting member in the wood splitting machine according to Figures 1-3 in a detail view, seen obliquely from above.
Figure 5 shows the wood splitting machine according to Figures 1-4 seen obliquely from above. In the figure, the splitter is cutting the log. 10 15 20 25 30 35 3 Figure 6 shows the wood splitting machine according to figures 1-5 seen obliquely from above. In the figure, the log has been split into four parts, the splitting press has released the locking means for the splitting means after having split the log, whereby the splitting means has fallen down to a lower position.
Figure 7 shows the height locking of the splitting member in the wood splitting machine according to Figures 1-6 in a detail view, seen obliquely from above. In the figure, the splitting member has fallen down to a lower position.
Figure 8 shows the wood splitting machine according to Figures 1 - 7 seen perpendicularly from the side. In the figure, the log has split into four parts, and the splitting member has fallen down to a lower position.
Figure 9 shows the height locking of the splitting member in the wood splitting machine according to Figures 1-8 in a detail view, seen perpendicularly from the side. In the figure, the splitter has pushed on the splitting member so that it has fallen down to a lower position.
Figure 10 shows the wood splitting machine according to Figures 1 ~ 9 with a thin log of wood approaching cutting and splitting. A splitting selector has detected that the log is thin and lifts the splitter up to an upper position, the log only splitting into two parts.
The wood splitting machine according to the figures has one or more frames 1, one or more moving means 2 for a wood log 7 with which the wood stove 7 can be moved forward to one or more splitting means 5. The wood splitting machine comprises one or more splitting determining means 4 which determine a splitting point for the log 7 according to a cross-sectional dimension or the cross-sectional dimensions of the log 7. The splitting determining means 4 moves one splitting means or the several splitting means 5 so that the log 7 splits at a desired place according to the cross-sectional net or cross-sectional dimensions. The splitting determining means 4, which is in contact with the log, moves the splitting means 5 so that the log 7 splits at the desired place.
The cleavage control means 4 has one or more identification means 4a which have one or more rotatably attached storms 4aa. In the figures, the body 4aa is pivotally attached to a frame of a cutting member 3, which is upright, with stony hinge means 4ab. The body 4aa is pivoted by the thickness of the crankshaft 7, the body 4aa by means of a drive means 4b for one splitting means or the several splitting means 5 moving the one splitting means or the several splitting means 5. In the figures the body 4aa lies in relation to the body 10 The hinge means 4ab 4 opposite edge to the upper surface of the log 7 and thereby determines the height of the log, i.e. the splitting mat.
The figures show a frame 1 which functions as the main frame of the wood splitting machine. It is at this frame 1 that the wood splitting machine is attached to a desired object or mounted on its own legs.
The figures show a transfer member 2 with known pruning and transfer jaws 2a. The moving member 2 functions in a manner known per se according to pulse principle so that it is set back and forth by a pulse cylinder 11.
The figures show a known cutting member 3 with a cutting blade 3a, holding jaws 3b and a cutting cylinder 30. The cutting member 3 consists of a so-called guillotine cutter, but other cutting means can also be used.
The figures show a splitting fastening means 4 which mechanically measures the thickness of the log 7 and which, according to the thickness of the log 7, adjusts the position of the splitting 5 in the height direction of the cross-section of the log 7.
In contrast to the figures, the splitting point of the log '7 can also be determined to lie elsewhere than in the height direction shown in the figures.
The splitting can be carried out, for example, at several points on the log 7 in the vertical direction in the manner according to the invention by measuring with the splitting determining means 4 and by changing the position of the splitting means 5 laterally. In the figures, the log 7 has a horizontal position, but it can also have some other known position, if necessary, an identification means 4a can be pressed against the log 7 by means of a spring or some other known device.
The splitting means 4 has one or more identification means 4a, one or more drive means 4b for the splitting means 5 and one or more movers 4e for the splitting means 5. The identification means 4a has one or more frames 4b and one or more frame hinge means 4ab. The drive means 4b for the splitting means 5 has drive hinge means 4ba. The L-shaped displacer 4c for the splitting means 5 has one or more displacer hinge means 4ca on which the displacer 4c turns when the drive means 4b for the splitting means 5 turns it / sets it in motion. In the figures, the drive hinge means 4ba lies in the branch of the L directed towards the drive means 4b, and the mover hinge means 4oa lies in the point of rotation of the branches of the L, the mover Sb, when the mover Sb is pulled by mediating the drive hinge means 4ba 4b, which in the figures is a drawbar, turns on its displacer hinge member 4ca, the displacer 4 :: of the displacer hinge means 4ba lifting upwards, the displacer 4c lifting the splitting member 5 upwards at the displacer Sd of the splitting member 5.
One or more locking means Sd for the splitting means 5 locks the splitting means 5 in the raised position. After the cut log 7a has fallen into the splitting chamber 10, one or more splitting presses Sa presses the log 'ia through the splitting member 5, the log 7 splitting. After the splitting press Sa has pressed the log 7a into parts, the splitting press Sa presses the locking means for the splitting means Sd open, whereby the splitting means 5 falls down to a lower position.
The figures show a splitting member 5 with one or more splitting frames Sa, one or more supports Se for the splitting member 5, one or more locking means Sd for the splitting member 5 and one or more traction members Se. In the figures, a displacer Sb for the splitting member 5, which consists of a round pin, moves in one or more guides Sba for the splitting member S. In the figures, the guide Sba has the shape of a rectangular hole. Figure 4 shows a splitting dimension Sbb which is the measurement of the lifting of the splitting member 5 caused by the frame 4aa of the identification member 4a when the wood log 7 joins next to the frame 4aa, below it in the figures. In the figures, the locking member Sd for the splitting member 5 is constituted by opposing teeth which are pulled towards each other by one or more pulling means Se which are preferably springs or other known pulling or pushing devices / parts. The teeth directed towards the splitting member 5 are called splitting member latch Sda, and the teeth opposite the splitting member S are called splitting member support latch Sdb. Fig. 9 shows a gear play Sdc which occurs after the splitting press 8a by pressing the splits of the splitting member lock and the splitting means of the splitting member lock Sdb apart from each other has created a gear play Sdc, whereby the splitting member 5 can fall down to a lower position.
The figures show a per se known length control means 6 for the wood log 7 which initiates cutting of the log 7 when the end of the log 7 presses the length control 6 to a position where the length determining means 6 gives the cutting means 3 a command to cut the log 7. As it 10 15 20 25 30 35 6 is known, this can be arranged to take place hydraulically, mechanically, electrically or by a combination of these.
In the figures are marked a log 7, a cut log 7a, a log 7b that is splitting and a split log 70.
The figures show a splitter 8 which is a hydraulic cylinder and a splitting press Sa which is a disc whose task is to push the log 7a towards the splitting member 5 so that it splits.
The figures also show a splitting selector 9 which, when a log of 7 of predetermined thinness is cut, by a known technique electrically or mechanically measures the diameter of the log 7. After ascertaining that the log 7 is thin, the cutting selector 9 lifts the identification means 4a up into the hydraulic cylinder, by means of one or more pivot arms, the cutting means 5 lifting up to an upper position so that the log 7 only splits into two parts.
The figures also show a splitting space 10 which in the figures consists of a V-shaped box which is split in the middle to allow the movement of the clamping press 8a. the figures further show a known pulse cylinder 11 which feeds the wood log in the direction of the cutting member 3.
The operating principle of the invented wood splitting method is that one or more splitting determining means 4, when the pruning and moving jaws 2a of the moving member 2 through the cutting area of the cutting member 3's cutting blade 3a project a wood log 7, determines a splitting point for the cross-section of the wood on the logs 7, and the splitting determining means 4 moves one or more splitting means 5 in such a way that the log 7 splits at a desired point according to the cross-sectional measure or the cross-sectional measures. One or more locking means 5d for the splitting means 5 locks the splitting means 5 in the raised position.
The incoming wood stove 7 lifts / turns in the process of the identification means 4a of the splitting determining means, the drive means 4b of the identification means 4a turning the displacers 4e. The displacements 4b lift up the displacements Sb of the splitting member 5 along the guides Sba of the splitting member 5 over a distance corresponding to the splitting dimension Sbb.
A tensioning member Se, which in the figures is a tensioning spring, pulls the teeth of the locking member Sd together, the splitting member 5 remaining in this raised position for the time which the cutting of the log 7 takes. When the cutting means 3 cuts the log 3, the cut log 7a falls into a splitting space 10 where the splitting means 5 placed at the outer end now has the correct splitting height. When the wood stove 7 falls down, it simultaneously releases the identification means 4a, whereby the splitting net Sbb shown in figure 4 arises. Figure 7 shows that the splitting dimension Sbb during the lifting of the splitting member 5 is zero, i.e. the mover 4e and the mover 5c are against and in contact with each other. Finally, the splitting press Sa presses the log 7 against the splitting member 5 so that it twists. After the wood log 7 has split, the splitting press Sa presses the teeth Sd of the locking member Sd, whereby a tooth play Sdc arises, whereby the splitting member 5 releases and lowers itself to a lower position. The splitting member 5 is locked in place during the splitting of the log 7, whereby the fibers or twigs of the log cannot control the splitting of the log 7.
In contrast to the figures, the identification means 4 may be of a different construction. For example, the devices of the identification means 4 can only be located on one side of the log.
The wood splitting machine according to the invented wood splitting process can preferably be produced from known raw materials by known production methods.
One skilled in the art will appreciate that the invention is not limited to the above-mentioned alternatives but many modifications are possible within the scope of the inventive concept defined in the appended claims.
